Altmans Gallery took part in Cosmoscow for the first time
This year Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair, held in Gostiny Dvor from September 6 to 8, welcomed the new exhibitor, the gallery of the first names Altmans Gallery, which has branches in Moscow and Tel Aviv. The gallery offered Cosmoscow visitors the works by famous artists which had never been presented at the Fair before.
Within Cosmoscow, works of the leading masters of the 20th century's second half were shown at the gallery's stand: Salvador Dali's lithographs dedicated to three zodiac signs (Virgo, Libra, Scorpio) and other series of the post-war period, Marc Chagall's lithographs and ceramics, paintings by Igor Vulokh, the nonconformist of the 60-s. Thus, Altmans Gallery presented an experimental exhibition to the audience: two leading artistic trends of the last century - surrealism and abstract art - embodied in various visual techniques.
