Olga and Oleg Tatarintsev work together, hence their creative output, their exhibition activity, and their way of life should be perceived as one entity. Both are graduates of the Ceramics Department of the Lviv Academy of Arts. The list of group and personal exhibitions, in which they participated since 1987, is quite extensive.
Their creative thinking and their interpretation of the goals of art are thoroughly original. Tatarintsevs consider any comments to their art superfluous. Following the old precepts of the high avant-garde, which puts itself above any interpretation, they try to position their art completely outside of text. Tatarintsevs are especially invested in rhythm, color and repeatability of painted objects.
Tatarintsevs were born and studied in Azerbaijan. Currently they live and work in Moscow.
